  • flightright has launched in Sweden and assists air passengers according to (EC) Regulation 261/2004
  • Rollout in all Scandinavian and Baltic countries to occur by early 2013

Stockholm, January 8, 2013 –flightright (www.flightright.de ), the German consumer portal for air passenger rights to compensation for flight delays, cancelled flights and denied boarding, is expanding internationally. flightright Scandinavia (www.flightright.se) has now launched in Sweden.

Under European Law, (EC) Regulation 261/2004, air passengers are entitled to compensation of up to 600 euro in the event that their flight is delayed, cancelled or boarding is denied.

flightright will handle air passengers claims without any financial risks involved. flightright will only charge a fee if airline pays out compensation.

flightright Scandinavia will soon open up business in Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland, as well as the Baltic countries Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with a joint additional market of 32 million people and more than 26.6 million air passengers on 320,000 flights, all facing potential delays, cancellations and denied boarding.

About flightright: flightright (www.flightright.de), the consumer portal for air passenger rights, was launched in the spring of 2010. In using the portal provided by flightright, air passengers may seek financial compensation for delayed or cancelled flights.
flightright refers to Regulation (EC) No 261/2004, under which air passengers affected by cancelled or delayed flights are entitled to compensation by the airline.
