MAKE A WISH COME TRUE AND DONATE A TOY THIS CHRISTMAS VIA MILLER HOMES

As the festive celebrations draw nearer many children have listed their ‘must haves’ in a letter to Santa, circled toys in a catalogue or made a wish list  on internet sites.  But for some that’s just not reality, that’s why Miller Homes is imploring the generous hearted Yorkshire folk to donate a toy this Christmas.

The housebuilder has partnered with South Yorkshire’s Hallam FM and Magic AM’s Cash for Kids Christmas Appeal and is for the next month turning their 12 sales centres throughout Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire into collection points for new toys. Plus alongside this Miller Homes is also accepting used, but in good condition toys, that the housebuilder itself will donate to local charities.

Steve McElroy, sales and marketing director for Miller Homes Yorkshire said: “During difficult economic times it’s essential that we don’t forget those less fortunate and in particular those children that just won’t have the magical Christmas most dream of.

“We are proud to be supporting Hallam FM and Magic AM’s Cash for Kids Christmas Appeal by turning our sales centres into collection points to take delivery of gifts for boys and girls of all ages, from new borns - teenagers. We have pledged a large donation of gifts from Lego kits through to a skateboard, but Miller Homes is also willing to accept used toys so we can personally donate to our chosen local charities.”

Cash for Kids is the official charity of Hallam FM and Magic AM. The charity helps hundreds of ill, disabled and under privileged children throughout the region by raising vital funds for organisations that support these children plus delivering hundreds of new gifts at Christmas.

“We are delighted to be opening our doors and welcoming, not only househunters but, visitors that want to easily make a wish come true for some children this Christmas,” said Steve.
