Your Wedding, Your Way at Hodsock Priory
Planning the perfect big day is all about having exactly what you want to make your dreams come true, so one stunning wedding venue has pulled out all the stops to ensure any bride and groom can have a wonderful day whether it’s a small private ceremony and drinks reception, or a magnificent affair in the magical stately home.
Hodsock Priory located on the border of North Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire is nestled in the heart of an 800 acre country estate with the captivating Priory surrounded by gardens and woodland that together provide a perfect backdrop for memorable photographs.
“We are a unique wedding venue and are pleased to offer, from 2012, a series of exclusive wedding opportunities so that a variety of brides and grooms can celebrate at Hodsock,” commented George Buchanan ninth generation resident and general manager Hodsock Priory. “We have held our wedding venue hire charges at 2011 prices to give couples a helping hand and also created innovative wedding packages to suit any budget large or small.”
For those who want a simple ceremony and celebration its ‘Runaway Bride’ package includes civil ceremony, venue hire and drinks for just £750 or for a small additional cost a wedding breakfast and extended use of the Priory can be enjoyed.
Or, for those with a little more cash, why not choose Hodsock’s ‘Grand Wedding’ option which incorporates just about everything you could dream of for £10,000. Or, should you prefer complete flexibility opt to hire Hodsock Priory as your bespoke venue and then create your own magical day, taking advantage of their expert advice.
And, from 27thDecember until 8thJanuary the doors will be opened to the Priory, where George Buchanan will welcome prospective brides and grooms to view the Priory, grounds and accommodation. On the 8th January Hodsock is hosting a New Brides Open Day where you will also be able to discuss your plans with the other members of the highly experienced wedding team. With selected dates still available in 2012, including spring time, it could only be a matter of weeks until your big day.
“We warmly offer our home as your wedding venue for you to utilise as you wish,” said George. “Gone are the days when every wedding followed the same format - couples chose food from a limited menu and everything about the wedding suggested the one next weekend would be the same. Whilst we have put together these special ‘packages’ they still give brides and grooms complete flexibility in how they want to make their day special and individual.”
Hodsock Priory is also able to offer a bridal suite, two further rooms in the main house and ten luxury accommodation suites a short walk from the house at its new Courtyard development.
