Flowbox the first Swedish-founded company to become a Facebook Creative Partner
Swedish visual marketing company Flowbox, which provides a platform for collecting and distributing user generated content (UGC), has recently been accredited as a Facebook Creative Partner.
The SaaS startup Flowbox is the first Swedish-founded company to be recognized as a Facebook Creative Partner through the accreditation of a Facebook Marketing Partner Badge. Flowbox, founded in 2016, provides a platform that enables companies to collect, manage and distribute user generated content (UGC) to their own digital and social channels. The company has grown fast since the start and today has more than 450 customers across 20 countries.
“We’re very proud and grateful for this accreditation. Being the first company founded in Sweden to become a creative Facebook partner is a big milestone, both for me personally and for Flowbox as a company and our journey together. It’s a result of our team effort during the past few years and a strong recognition that our technology maintains a high level,” says Marcus Carloni, CEO and founder of Flowbox.
The Facebook Marketing Partner badge is awarded to companies who meet certain standards of performance and service. There are various categories of partnerships and a partner can be accredited for more than one solution. Creative partners are chosen on the basis of their, according to Facebook, “expertise in mobile marketing and innovative technology solutions”. Companies who apply to become a creative partner are required, among many other criteria, to submit case studies which should demonstrate the ability to drive positive business outcomes. Applicants must be able to show that the platform or technology meets a specific need in the market and that it is used by clients to produce mobile-first ad creative for Facebook or Instagram.
“The fact that we’re now an official Facebook Marketing Partner proves the added value we give our clients. We’re proud to have the trust from market-leading brands and happy that Facebook also sees potential in our platform, technology and vision,” says Mattias Österberg, Product Manager at Flowbox.
Flowbox’s platform empowers brands to create exceptional, customer-first commerce experiences. By using Flowbox, brands can increase their engagement and conversions on their site and other digital and social channels. Using user generated content has proven to be an efficient way to build a strong online community as well as save time and resources in content creation. Mattias Österberg says the accreditation shows the real value of Flowbox’s platform and how it enables brands to more efficiently create and distribute mobile-first content. Using Flowbox, brands can easily collect and distribute UGC in a mobile-friendly format, thus creating a powerful consumer experience.
“By enabling and simplifying the collection of mobile-first creatives from social media, Flowbox helps brands leverage and distribute content throughout the buyer journey to increase engagement, social proof and sales. In addition to collection, Flowbox supports brands in the insights, creation and distribution stage to help them create an impactful mobile-first experience for their customers. By doing so, we’re also helping brands allocate more of their marketing budget on distribution rather than creation,” says Mattias Österberg.
Since the start, Flowbox has focused on building a strong platform with innovative features. Earlier this year, the company recruited its first data scientist and later on a data engineer joined the team. The objective is to develop smarter solutions for Flowbox’s customers that can save time and provide extra value, such as Flowscore – a new sorting algorithm for optimizing UGC flows. The latest product, which will be launched during the fourth quarter of 2020, is a feature called UGC DPA, which will make it possible for companies to use user generated content in dynamic product ads on Facebook and Instagram. In just a few clicks, users will be able to replace white background product images with real, authentic customer photos which can be used for impactful prospecting or retargeting campaigns.
Mattias Österberg says the partnership with Facebook will open up new possibilities that will help Flowbox continue to develop innovative features and stay at the forefront of technology.
“Becoming an official Facebook Marketing Partner is proof of our credibility and shows that we’re a partner to be trusted. It will also give us insights that will be valuable in order to continue building the next generation's marketing platform.”
Helping brands stay ahead of customer expectations is the core of Flowbox, and will continue to be the main focus for the company going forward, says Marcus Carloni.
“Long-term, this partnership will help us develop new products and solutions which let our clients build and scale more meaningful customer relationships and deliver more engaging content to their communities. Customer experience is becoming more and more important for brands today. The growth we’ve had as a company in recent years is mainly due to the fact that we have been able to help our customers succeed by creating a better customer experience through their digital and social channels, thus increasing their engagement and sales.”
