SaaS company Flowbox ranked number 8 in Deloitte’s Sweden Technology Fast 50 2020
Visual MarTech company Flowbox, which provides a platform for optimizing user generated content (UGC), has been ranked number 8 in Deloitte’s annual recognition of the fastest-growing tech companies in Sweden.
The annual Technology Fast 50 program has been running since 1995 in over 20 different countries around the world. In Sweden, the ranking of top-performing private and public tech firms has been carried out since 2003.
Company ranking is based on revenue growth over the last four years and Deloitte considers a wide range of technology companies from software and hardware to life science, communications and clean technology. Flowbox, a SaaS company, offers a platform for the collection, moderation and distribution of user generated content from multiple channels. Clients are able to showcase real customer photos and videos in customizable galleries to boost engagement, improve time-on-site and increase conversions.
Founded in 2016, Flowbox has seen a 1545% increase in net sales over the last four years. In 2020, the company raised EUR 7.5 million in capital from Viking Venture, one of the Nordic region's leading software investors in growth companies. Following this investment, Flowbox has continued to strengthen its footprint in key markets in Europe, expand its tech and sales teams, and develop additional products.
“Our rapid growth is the result of our attractive product offering and our emergence as a leader in the user generated content marketplace. This year our focus has been on customer success, innovation and top-tier recruitment. It’s great to receive the recognition from Deloitte that we are ranked 8th of top performers in Sweden,” says Marcus Carloni, CEO and founder of Flowbox.
“To qualify for a spot in Deloitte Sweden Technology Fast 50 is an impressive feat, especially in such a competitive and fast-changing sector as technology,” says Ester Sundström, responsible för Deloitte Sweden Technology Fast 50. “Congratulations to Flowbox.”
In 2020, Flowbox has expanded its sales and tech teams, beginning with two key appointments: Carl Larsson as COO and Vlada Ivankova as Head of Product. Today the company has more than 60 employees in four countries serving 400+ customers in 20 markets.
“We have launched many new product offerings this year, such as our proprietary statistical algorithm Flowscore which optimizes our client’s flows with a unique and dynamic sorting, as well as features that incorporate UGC in dynamic product ads on Facebook and Instagram. We see that the trend for user generated content is growing and the possibilities for its use are endless,” says Mattias Österberg, Product Manager, Flowbox.
"This year has brought fundamental changes to ecommerce, at a speed no one could have predicted. Globally, brands are now more dependent than ever on a strong online presence. Flowbox allows brands to authentically communicate and connect with their fans and grow their communities, through the use of user generated content”, says Marcus Carloni.
This year’s list of top performers in Deloitte’s Sweden Technology Fast 50 was announced in a series of webinars on 7-10 December. The full list of companies ranked in 2020 can be found here.
