Trustpilot and Flowbox become partners to leverage the power of customer created content

As the digital landscape changes rapidly, building trust is becoming increasingly important for companies. To help consumers make better purchase decisions and help online brands leverage the power of user-generated content, the global review site Trustpilot now partners with the UGC platform provider Flowbox.

Flowbox is a visual marketing platform that enables companies to use content created by their customers in social media, user-generated content (UGC), throughout the buyer journey. The company, founded 2016, has grown fast since the start and has today over 400 customers in ten countries. Now, the company joins forces with the Danish-founded review site Trustpilot. The combined technologies, knowledge and data of both companies will serve to create a better user experience for their mutual clients and their customers.

“Trustpilot is a mature brand and they have had a similar growth route as Flowbox and can share their knowledge and expertise. We believe that Trustpilot can also generate a trust component in attracting new clients, being a global market leader in customer reviews. We think that we can benefit from this synergy,” says Marcus Carloni, founder and CEO of Flowbox.

The objective of the partnership is to build a powerful solution to help companies gather and analyze customer generated content and leverage it throughout the online shopping journey, thus solving two main issues marketers encounter in their daily operations; creating new content for consumers and making it relevant for them to complete a purchase. Ultimately, the goal is to help companies increase their onsite conversion rate.

Trustpilot was founded in 2007 and is today a global site with over 71 million reviews written about over 330 000 companies worldwide. Through the platform, companies are able to view and respond to reviews and add their star-ranking to their website, thus turning consumer feedback to actionable insights.

“In a changing world where consumers are always looking for other consumers’ validation, it is pivotal to make sure that brands stay recognizable, trustworthy and understand their customers. We believe that the partnership with Flowbox will make sure that we can offer our customers a strong tool to build the foundations of such a journey”, says Thomas Brath, New Biz Director CEU at Trustpilot.

A first version of the joint solution will be launched in the beginning of April and tested by a selected few clients before being offered to the wide public.
