​Flowscape wins large order from paint giant Tikkurila

Last week Flowscape closed a deal with the leading Nordic paint industry company Tikkurila, owner of established brands such as Beckers and Alcro.

Tikkurila Sweden is part of the Tikkurila group with 3000 employees and a turnover of over 500 million euros. 

The impressive heritage with a 150 years old history defines the company alongside with an ambition to always develope it´s business, offer and ways of working. When the decision was made to redesign the Swedish headquarters from a traditional office landscape to an inspiring and activity-based office, Tikkurila wanted to ensure that solutions were found to meet the various challenges posed by such a change. Among other things, the company wanted to simplify bookings of meeting rooms and workspaces, and, with the help of statistics, be able to map how all surfaces and workplaces are utilized. This is why Flowscape was brought in.

The implementation of the Flowscape system starts straight away. It includes software and hardware to create greater flow. For instance the Smartphone app that helps employees view the office on the way to the office or at work being able to book that first morning meeting. Sensors at the work stations that will make all occupied desks go red in the Flowmap instantly when somebody is sitting down. The hardware also contains large billboard screens on each floor for easy navigation and room booking.
