Smart news in Flowscape’s summer releases

This summer, Flowscape released the following updates: optimizing meeting rooms, failing equipment is reported in a smarter way, GDPR reaches new heights and implementation gets new flow in the cloud.

The Wizard of Flow
Users can now book meeting rooms in a smarter way. With the Flowscape system’s new wizard-function, the user only needs to specify their preferences when booking a meeting room (time, number of participants). Then, the closest matching room appears as a suggestion, regardless of which floor it is located on. Filling two needs with one deed, the user avoids booking too large meeting rooms and the company increases the optimization of their meeting room usage.

Smarter service
The Housekeeper function allows users to report faulty office equipment that needs service or is broken, e.g. the printer or broken wires, directly in the Flowscape mobile app. In the new version, the administrator can see an organized list of all reported errands including an image of the object and a description of the problem. This enables the support service to quickly and easily locate the faulty object or order reserve parts without having to get to the place where the object is based.

GDPR
At Flowscape, our mission is to decrease friction at the modern workplace. At the heart of this is the human being. We care about the privacy of our users and our systems never save individual data. Therefore, we welcome GDPR, a regulatory framework whose message is consistent with our values and how we work. In our C-One communication platform, we have added a feature where the user, with a simple click, can delete their profile as a sender in the system by entering their password. All information about the user will then disappear in information cases or communication flows where the user previously participated. The user now also has the option to turn off the tracking feature on the map - directly in the app.

Flow in the cloud
With the cloud comes flexibility, and now the implementation of the Flowscape system is automated. Until now, the process has required the customer to configure both server and gateway for a manual installation. Now, the process has moved to the cloud which saves time and resources for both sides.
