Long-term loyalty pays off

Air Malta's planes have been a familiar sight at Munich Airport since 1974. That means that the carrier has been connecting the island country between Italy and the North African coast with the Bavarian capital Munich for more than 40 years. What started with just one flight per week has since expanded to 12 weekly services. At Munich Airport – a "five-star hub" – Air Malta passengers benefit from an enormous range of connecting flights. The excellent cooperation of Air Malta with other airlines in Munich was a big reason for its selection as the winner of the 2018 Munich Exchange Award. The award is presented annually to airlines with a long-standing and successful track record at Munich Airport.
