Condor is expanding its long-haul network with the addition of two weekly non-stop flights to Seattle. The German carrier will operate the new service to the largest city in the north-west of the USA with a Boeing 767-300 widebody jet. Flights will depart every Wednesday and Saturday. Surrounded by rivers, lakes and forests, Seattle is popular with outdoor enthusiasts. But visitors should also be sure to pay a visit to the city's iconic landmark: The futuristic "Space Needle" observation tower, built on the occasion of the 1962 World's Fair, is 184 meters high and offers an impressive view of the entire city. To mark the official launch of the Condor service to Seattle, the crew and passengers were presented with commemorative gingerbread hearts.
