Munich Airport will enhance passenger experience in Terminal 1

Terminal 1 at Munich Airport is going to be expanded with the addition of a new pier with around 95,000 square meters of floor space. The pier is scheduled to go into operation in 2023.
The demolition work on the apron is due for completion by the fall. At the beginning of next year, the construction of the new Terminal 1 pier can then start. The expansion of the terminal will extend 350 meters into the western apron. The pier will have gateside access for six widebody jets or 12 smaller aircraft.
