FLUX ACTIVE SERVICE STRENGTHENS POSITION AS PARKERDISTRIBUTOR IN NORWAY
Flux Group’s subsidiary, Flux Active Service, strengthens its distribution agreement with Parker Hannifin, the world’s leading manufacturer of hoses and couplings for the oil and gas industry. Flux Active Service has been awarded a major contract for the delivery of Parker BOP umbilicals to COSL Drilling Europe, and is about to open its own Parker Store as one of few selected partners in Norway.
Flux Active Service, acquired by Flux Group in 2016, provides hoses, couplings and related services for fluid transfer, power and control solutions for the oil and gas sector and the maritime industry. The company has for a number of years been a distributor for Parker Hannifin, which today is one of the main suppliers of Flux Active Service in Norway.
The company has over time established a solid market position and a strong customer portfolio. Recently, Flux Active Service was awarded a multi-million NOK contract for the delivery of BOP Control Umbilicals to COSL Drilling Europe, one of the most efficient drilling companies on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Parker Hannifin will manufacture the umbilicals, with delivery in the first quarter of 2019.
Building on the well-established partnership with Parker Hannifin, Flux Active Service is opening its own Parker Store in connection with its office in Stavanger, as one of a few selected companies in Norway. The Parker Store will offer a range of Parker Hannifin's most popular products as well as regularly displaying new products.
