FENDER® KICKS OFF 2016 WITH COMPREHENSIVE RANGE OF INNOVATIVE PRODUCT INTRODUCTIONS
FMIC offers the most diverse and innovative slate of products in its recent history
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Jan. 22, 2016) – Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is excited to launch a broad range of innovative products across multiple categories.

Launching in 2016 are the following:
- American Elite Series – With over a dozen innovations and advancements, the American Elite Series infuses the iconic Stratocaster®, Telecaster®, Jazz Bass®, Precision Bass® and Dimension Bass® with contemporary features designed for players seeking the pinnacle in performance. Visually, each guitar offers Fender’s tradition of iconic design and craftsmanship but under the hood, the American Elite Series meets the demand of today’s most progressive players. Electric guitars will be available February 2016 and electric basses will be available in late Spring 2016.
- Paramount™ Acoustic Series – The Paramount Acoustic Series are finely crafted and specially voiced acoustic instruments designed to bring a player’s personal artistic vision to life. The series reflects Fender’s tradition of craftsmanship, blending legacy design elements with contemporary performance features, all at an affordable price. The Paramount Acoustic Series will be available in February 2016.
- Bassbreaker™ - A nine-piece electric guitar amplifier series, featuring new charcoal tweed design elements, Bassbreaker blends Fender’s classic tube sound with aggressive overtones, offering increased versatility for artists and players. The Bassbreaker is available to consumers now.
- Fender Pro In-Ear Monitors – This innovative new product line features unique patented technology, engineered for an immersive listening experience. The 2016 Fender Pro In-Ear Monitor series are comprised of five models for varying levels of live performance. The In-Ear Monitors will be available in March 2016.
- Acoustic Pro and Acoustic SFX™ - Fender’s lasted addition to its acoustic amp line, the Acoustic Pro and the Acoustic SFX bring out the singer-songwriter in players, providing two completely different sounds and experiences. The Acoustic Pro is a 200-watt amp with two universal channels for guitars and microphones. The Acoustic SFX offers lightweight design, portability and room-filling Stereo Field Expansion technology.
- Edge Signature Stratocaster® & Edge Deluxe™ Amplifier – Designed in close collaboration with the Edge, Fender introduces the first-ever Edge Signature Stratocaster and Edge Deluxe amplifier, for one of the world’s most iconic artists and world-renowned sonic architect.
- Music Repeater Telecaster® - Created in Fender’s Custom Shop, the Music Repeater marries Swiss-made mechanical movement with intricately inlaid precious materials, including over 1,000 diamonds and 325 natural pearls.
