Monica Söderlund appointed as the Managing Director of Fondia Sweden

Ms. Monica Söderlund, LL.M, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Fondia Plc’s Swedish subsidiary Fondia Legal Services AB. Previously, Monica was with Grant Thornton, where she acted as Head of Tax Sweden, Partner, and as member of the Management Board as well as the Global Tax Advisory Board.

Monica will start in her new position at Fondia Legal Services AB on June 10th, 2019. At Fondia, she will join the Group Management Team alongside the Fondia Sweden’s Leadership Team.

As informed earlier in a company release, the current Managing Director Niclas Gottlieb will stay with Fondia until July 31st, 2019 and will give his full support in this transition.

Prior to Grant Thornton, Monica has held various management positions in relation to tax law in different expert organizations, i.e. KPMG and Deloitte, as well as working as Global Head of Tax at IKEA in the Netherlands.
