Leadership change at FairWind

Force BidCo A/S (FairWind) announces today that John Funch is leaving his position as CEO of FairWind A/S. The Board of Directors has appointed Stewart Mitchell to succeed him. The change takes effect today.

Stewart Mitchell most recently served as CEO of Sparrows Group, a global provider of specialist equipment and integrated engineering services to the energy and industrial sectors.

“John Funch has led FairWind to become a leading onshore wind-installation company with a mayor footprint in Northern and Central Europe. Just looking back to the last two years, he has set the sails for future growth in new markets during challenging times, while together with the management team keeping revenue stable and delivering an all-time EBITDA margin in 2022.

As the next phase of FairWind’s growth journey will require an even wider geographical expansion while extending services into new business segments, the board and John have jointly agreed that a new CEO should lead this challenge. We are therefore announcing that Stewart Mitchell will take this position effective today.
