Forcenergy Inc Announcement November 22, 1999 (MIAMI, FL).Forcenergy Inc (OTCBB: FENYQ) announced that the First Amended Joint Disclosure Statement for the Company's Plan of Reorganization (the "Plan") was approved on October 22, 1999 by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. A confirmation hearing is scheduled on December 13, 1999. On November 16, 1999 the Bankruptcy Court extended the time period for which only the Company has the exclusive right to file a plan of reorganization. No other Plan has been submitted or can be submitted during the Company's exclusivity period. The Plan and ballots for voting to accept or reject the Plan have been distributed to creditors and shareholders. The current deadline for voting requires that ballots actually be received prior to November 30, 1999 at 5:00 p.m. central standard time.
