Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg to step down as President of FöreningsSparbanken at Annual General Meeting in 2004 Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg will retire in February 2005 and step down as President of FöreningsSparbanken at the Annual General Meeting in 2004. She has served as President and CEO of the bank since 2000 and has been a member of the board of directors since 1994. Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg has an agreement that entitles her to retire from the bank at age 58, i.e. in February 2005. "Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg and I have decided, based on her wishes, that the Annual General Meeting in 2004 would be an appropriate date for her to step down," says Executive Chairman Carl Eric Stålberg. "FöreningsSparbanken is doing better than ever, with increased market shares, the highest profitability in the industry and a number of fine awards this past autumn," says Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg.
