Changes in the Executive Management Committee At the Ordinary Meeting of the Board held on 19 February 1999, decisions were taken regarding certain changes in the management of the bank. The changes are to be implemented on 1 March 1999, and the reason for them is that we need to use the skills of senior members of management in a slightly different way to continue developing the bank and focusing its operations. Jan Lidén will be responsible for Swedbank Markets after Håkan Källåker, who will be leaving the bank. Over the past ten years, Håkan Källåker has successfully built up important business operations within the framework of Swedbank Markets. Jan Lidén will continue to be responsible for the Product Area Payments as well as IT issues at the executive management level. Anders Borgcrantz will be President of AB Spintab and responsible for Product Area Lending. Annika Wijkström will be new to the bank's management and will be responsible for the Norway alliance SpareBank 1, as well as International Banking Services at Swedbank Markets. Tomas Johansson will be responsible for Market Area Stockholm. Lars Eklund will be responsible for Operative Risks, Legal and Environmental Affairs. Lars Idermark will be responsible for Local Markets at executive management level.
