Changes in the Local Bank and Management Organization FöreningsSparbanken (Swedbank) will make certain changes in the Local Bank organization and among management officers in the bank. The changes which will take effect from July 1, 1999, are due to the need to review the Local Bank organization and the management of the Local Banks. It is also a way of utilizing the competence of management officers in new assignments. Håkan Berg will be Head of Market Area Stockholm succeeding Tomas Johansson who is leaving the Bank. Thomas Johansson has held management positions in Swedbank for a long time and has contributed actively at management level to the merger and integration process in connection with the merger of Föreningsbanken and Sparbanken Sverige/Swedbank.
