FöreningsSparbanken (Swedbank) and FI-Holding implement the acquisition of Danish FIH following the approval of EU Commission The EU Commission has approved FöreningsSparbanken´s acquisition of Danish FIH (FinansieringsInstituttet for Industri og Håndværk A/S) via FI-Holding A/S. Accordingly, all conditions have been fulfilled to implement the acquisition which had been accepted by owners representing 96.6 per cent of capital and votes in FIH when the tender offer expired on October 11, 1999. Settlement date for the shares is November 1, 1999.
