FöreningsSparbanken (Swedbank) upgraded by Moody's The rating institute Moody's has decided to upgrade the long term rating for FöreningsSparbanken (Swedbank) to Aa3 and the financial strength rating to B. FöreningsSparbanken was formed in 1997 through the merger between Föreningsbanken and Sparbanken Sverige. According to Moody's the higher rating reflects the bank's strong franchise in Sweden, its low risk profile and its sound financial fundamentals.
