FöreningsSparbanken and Spintab upgraded by Standard & Poor's The rating institute Standard & Poor's has decided to upgrade the short term ratings for FöreningsSparbanken (Swedbank) and Spintab from A2 to A1. FöreningsSparbanken has at the same time been assigned a long term rating A from Standard & Poor's. FöreningsSparbanken was formed in 1997 through the merger of Föreningsbanken and Sparbanken Sverige. Spintab, one of the leading players on the Swedish mortgage market, is a wholly-owned subsidiary to FöreningsSparbanken.
