FöreningsSparbanken now has more than 20 per cent of Hansapank's holdings After having acquired additional shares in the Estonian bank Hansapank, FöreningsSparbanken now has more than 20 per cent of the bank's holdings. Hansapank merged last summer with Hoiupank, another Estonian bank, of which FöreningsSparbanken owned almost 20 per cent. After its recent share acquisitions, FöreningsSparbanken now has the same level of holdings in the merged Hansapank as it previously had in Hoiupank. Hansapank is Estonia's largest bank. It also conducts significant operations in Latvia and limited operations in Lithuania.
