Keen staff interest in FöreningsSparbanken (Swedbank) warrants More than 80% of FöreningsSparbanken's employees and local board members have accepted an offer to buy warrants to acquire shares in the bank. The issue price of the warrants is SEK 187. They have a term of over five years and entitle the holder to acquire one new share for each warrant, The employees of FöreningsSparbanken and of the Group's wholly owned subsidiaries as well as members of the boards of the local bank entities were invited earlier this spring, to buy warrants in FöreningsSparbanken. Approximately 10,540 people were eligible for the offer, which comprised a maximum of 15.2 million warrants. By the end of the offer period, some 8,500 people had accepted the offer and subscribed to a total of about 8 million warrants. That means 81% of those eligible took advantage of the offer. The number of warrant being acquired amounts to about 53% of the total on offer. The term of the warrants is over 5 years, with each warrant entitling the holder to buy one new share in FöreningsSparbanken during the period of May 2005 through September 2005. The issue price of the warrants is SEK 187 per share. If all the warrants are utilised, FöreningsSparbanken's share capital will be diluted by roughly 1.5%. Settlement date for the warrants is 25 May 2000. The exact number of acquired warrants will be indicated in FöreningsSparbanken's Semi-annual Report.
