Helena Dyrssen made group chief executive, communications, at if... P&C Insurance Helena Dyrssen has started as group chief executive, communications, at the new Nordic property and casualty (P&C) insurance company of If. Dyrssen will hold corporate responsibility for information and PR at Nordic level. She will form part of the corporate management of If P&C Insurance and report to chief executive officer Bo Ingemarson. If P&C Insurance, headquartered at Bergshamra in Stockholm, is the top Nordic property and casualty company created in collaboration between the Swedish Skandia, Norwegian Storebrand and Finnish Pohjola. The company has annual premium income in excess of SEK 23 billion and will have a 20% market share in the Nordic marked. The market share in Sweden is 19%, in Norway 39%, in Finland 26% and in Denmark 5%. Helena Dyrssen joins If from her post as Information Manager with TV4 in Stockholm, where she has worked since 1995. Dyrssen is 40 and a law graduate. She initially worked at the Swedish Liberal Party's parliamentary offices and subsequently at the Swedish government offices under the centre-right government. In 1994 she became State Secretary at the Swedish Ministry of Culture, with portfolio for cultural and media affairs.
