Första AP-fonden accepts GE’s bid for Arcam

Stockholm 13 October 2016 – Första AP-fonden (AP1) has decided to accept General Electric’s (GE) bid for Arcam. The bid expires tomorrow Friday 14 October.

– We consider GE as a solid and relevant owner, which is able to support a positive development of Arcam, says Olof Jonasson, Head of Equities at Första AP-fonden. 

Through the bid, Första AP-fonden’s investment in Arcam will be very favorable. In just over a year, the investment has increased in value with more than 100 percent, corresponding to 250 MSEK. 

Arcam, which was founded in 1997 and is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, is a company within 3D printing, an industry which is under strong development
