Fortaco Group expands its operations in Narva, Estonia
Fortaco Group, the leading strategic partner to the heavy off-highway equipment and marine industries in Europe, providing zero emission solutions and technology, assemblies, vehicle cabins, and steel fabrications expands its operations at Business Site Narva in Estonia.
Fortaco Estonia OÜ and Systemair AS the owner of the real estate housing Well Technology OÜ have signed an agreement where Fortaco Estonia OÜ expands its operations into the Well Technology building. The building is located in Narva Kadastiku Industry Park. By this deal, Fortaco Estonia extends its capacity by 8.000 m2 floor space, in addition to the current 35.000 m2 located in Narva city center (Linda street), with the total land area of approximately 100 000 m2. This re-confirms Fortaco’s position as one of the largest, flexible, and reliable strategic partners of steel fabricated components in Europe.
In the new production space, Fortaco will serve the current and new customers and manufacture new products. In addition to the real estate and infrastructure cost, Fortaco plans to invest approximately 7 MEUR in an advanced production specialization line with prefabrication equipment, welding robots, and CNC-machinery centres, including painting to offer its customers unique and competitive solutions for complex steel fabricated products. This sizeable investment is in the final stage of qualification for the EAS grant, originating from the Ida-Viru business investments program.
The new strategic extension offers job for approximately 40-50 employees in the very beginning. The recruitment process is ongoing. In total, the number of employees, including the current and new locations of Fortaco Estonia OÜ, will exceed 700 people.
