The shareholders of Enermet, a supplier of energy metering and load management systems, have agreed to sell their holding in the company to the Australian Bayard Group for approximately EUR 90 million. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals in the countries concerned. Fortum's share in Enermet is 30% and the decision to sell is in line with Fortum's strategy to divest direct ownership in metering and load management business.
