Fortum issues a EUR 750 million Eurobond

Fortum Corporation has issued a EUR 750 million 10-year Eurobond under its EMTN (Euro Medium Term Note) programme. The bond carries a coupon of 4.5%. The bond offering was oversubscribed with a total order-book of approximately EUR 1.6 billion and bonds were allocated to more than 100 investors. The bonds will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. The proceeds of the offering will be used for general corporate and refinancing purposes. Barclay's Capital, BNP Paribas, and Deutsche Bank acted as joint bookrunners for the transaction.
