New manager for Loviisa nuclear power plant as of 2008

Current Manager to head Fortum Generation’s new Jointly-Owned Nuclear Assets unit

Peter Gango has been appointed Manager of Fortum’s Loviisa nuclear power plant as of 1 January 2008. He has previously held several management positions at Loviisa. Currently, Peter Gango is Manager of the UK-based Sullom Voe power plant that is operated and maintained by Fortum.

As of 1 January 2008, the current Manager of the Loviisa plant, Arvo Vuorenmaa, will head Fortum Generation’s Jointly-Owned Nuclear Assets unit. The unit is new and will be located at company headquarters in Espoo, Finland.

"These appointments are part of Fortum’s job rotation and will further strengthen the company’s nuclear power business," comments Fortum Senior Vice President Tapio Kuula.
