Fortum appeals the Competition Authority's E.ON decision

Fortum has today submitted an appeal to the Market Court concerning the Finnish
Competition Authority's decision dated 2 June 2006 on Fortum's E.ON Finland
acquisition. Fortum appeals the conditions set to the acquisition, not the actual
approval of the acquisition.
