FORTUM CORPORATION'S BOARD COMMITTEES

Fortum's Board of Directors have elected, from among its members, Peter Fagernäs
(Chairman), Marianne Lie, and Lasse Kurkilahti to the Nomination and Compensation
Committee.

Birgitta Kantola (Chairman), Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg and Matti Lehti were
elected to the Audit Committee.
