Release category: Other information disclosed according to the rules of the exchange
Fortum is finalising the purchase price allocation of the Uniper acquisition which will be completed within the one-year window from the acquisition date in the first quarter of 2021. Fortum presents the preliminary purchase price allocation for the Uniper acquisition in the Financial Statements Bulletin for 2020, published today. The preliminary purchase price allocation resulted in adjustments to Uniper’s 31 March 2020 opening balance sheet used for Fortum consolidation purposes. These adjustments led to the restatement of the previously published quarters of 2020.
In addition to the adjustments above, Fortum has aligned the presentation of financial statements. This alignment led to changes of Fortum’s previous quarters of 2020 as well as for the full year 2019.
The above mentioned restated information is attached to this release.
