Fortum-RUSNANO wind investment fund starts cooperation in the Kalmykia Region in Russia

The Government of the Kalmykia Region in Russia, and Fortum-RUSNANO wind investment fund have entered into a non-binding cooperation agreement to build up to 450 MW of wind power plants in 2018–2021. A separate investment decision will be made for each project.
The Fortum-RUSNANO wind investment fund is a 50/50-owned investment partnership that was awarded the right to build 1,000 MW of wind power in Russia in 2018–2022 in the RES capacity selection auction that was held in 2017.
