Fortum's Chelyabinsk GRES video selected as the best corporate film in Russia

Fortum received three awards in Serebryanye Niti 2017 National Corporate Media Awards in Russia. Chelyabinsk GRES — Russia's Power Industry Legend video was selected as the winner of the Best Corporate Film prize in Technology, Products and Services category. The video was specially produced for the inauguration of the power plant and was made in the Russian, English, and Finnish languages. The panel praised the project for the successful resolution of the company's business challenges. The video presents modern power generation as efficient, reliable and safe.
Fortum was also selected as the winner of the Best Corporate Film award in the Corporate Event Report category. This award was given to Fortum's AboutEnergy educational program video. The video is dedicated to the program developed by Fortum in 2015 for third- and fourth-graders. The video includes interactive classes in which children learn what energy is and what forms it can take. Through the video, pupils also learn about sustainability and how to be environmentally friendly.
Fortum corporate calendar called Fortum Values won the Best Calendar prize in the High-Quality Handling of Brand Challenges category. Fortum's calendar designed for the year 2017 describes corporate values which are our key priorities and serve as the basis for interaction between our employees and the public and support our target to provide global solutions for a cleaner world.
Serebryanye Niti Awards is the first multi-regional corporate media competition in Russia. In 2008, it was expanded to the national level. Multi-regional and regional competitions are the first phase of the national competition and they are highly appreciated in the professional community. Fortum has participated in this competition also earlier and has received praise from the highly expert panel.
