Fortum’s President and CEO Markus Rauramo’s remote work period ends

Fortum’s President and CEO Markus Rauramo returns to the office after working three weeks remotely due to a pre-planned medical treatment. His treatment went remarkably well, and he is not expected to need further treatment.

“It’s really good to be back in the office! Apart from losing my hair as a side effect of the treatment, I feel perfectly well. Thanks to Fortum’s excellent IT systems, I’ve been able to stay continuously connected and work efficiently throughout this period,” says Markus.

Fortum announced on 18 April 2023 that Markus Rauramo would work remotely for health reasons until early May.
