Fortum's President and CEO on sick leave

FORTUM CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 10 December 2014 at 9:45 EET

In a follow-up control it has been discovered that Mr Tapio Kuula's, President and CEO of Fortum Corporation, cancer is reactivating. For this reason Tapio Kuula will start his sick leave for medical treatments on 18 December 2014.

During Tapio Kuula's leave of absence Mr Timo Karttinen, CFO of Fortum Corporation, will assume responsibility for the duties of the President and CEO.
