Fortum shares subscribed for with share warrants


The following shares have been subscribed for with Fortum Corporation's share
warrants in September 2005:

The corresponding increase in share capital has not yet been entered in the trade
register.

The next share subscriptions related to all of Fortum Corporation's option
schemes will be registered on or around 9 December 2005, when the trading of
shares subscribed for by the end of November 2005 will commence.

The previous time when Fortum Corporation's share capital was increased as a
result of share subscriptions based on the above option schemes was on 8
September 2005.
