Fortum to sell industrial maintenance services to CapMan

Fortum is to sell its business in charge of industrial maintenance services.
Fortum Service and the funds managed by CapMan have signed an agreement under
which the funds will purchase the Industrial Services business, which operates in
Finland and Sweden, for an undisclosed sum.

Some 900 employees will transfer in connection with the deal, approximately 700
of whom work in Finland and 200 in Sweden.

"This deal is part of Fortum's strategy, according to which Fortum Service in
future concentrates mainly on operation and maintenance services for the energy
industry as well as special services," says Kim Kronstedt, President, Fortum
Service.

The deal requires the approval of the Finnish and Swedish competition
authorities.
