Fortum eNext signs first commercial deal in India to cut air emissions
FORTUM CORPORATION ONLINE NEWS 27 JUNE 2019 10:00 EEST Fortum eNext has signed its first commercial project in India with Hindalco Industries Limited, part of Aditya Birla Group. The project is aimed at nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction through combustion modification on one of the 150-MW boilers located at the Aluminium Smelter Unit in Mahan, Singrauli District in Madhya Pradesh. The modification will enable the power plant to comply with the tightening restrictions on NOx emissions to 290 mg/Nm3 from the unit’s current levels. The timeline for completion of this project is mid-February
