Swedish state-funded venture capital company Fouriertransform AB invests in Rototest International AB located in Rönninge, Stockholm. The investment is made in the form of a direct share issue and a convertible loan.

Rototest International AB develops manufactures and markets test equipment, so called dynamometers, for the automotive industry. The company’s patented solutions for direct-coupled, hub-mounted dynamometers offer unique advantages over traditional techniques in terms of measurement accuracy and meet the requirements from increasingly more complex powertrains. Frost & Sullivan has recognized Rototest with its “New Product Innovation Award” and identifies its solutions as having the potential to become an industry standard.

- When it comes to automotive testing, Rototest’s innovative solutions have an exciting game change potential. Through this investment Fouriertransform reconfirms its strategic commitment to Swedish companies´ exports whilst at the same time promoting synergies within our overall investment portfolio, says Per Nordberg, CEO, Fouriertransform.

Rototest’s customers can be found amongst the auto manufacturers, their suppliers, research organisations, universities and the important aftermarket.

- Fouriertransform’s long-term approach, automotive industry focus and contact network convinced us that we had found the ideal partner. Its investment will allow us to expand our international operations and address the market demands. We welcome Fouriertransform on board as an active owner and look forward with enthusiasm to our future cooperation, says Rototest founder Nils G Engström.
