Hannes Wallin, CEO and founder of Fractal Gaming Group, has announced his intention to leave the role as CEO from the end of the year. The nomination committee, which represents approximately 54 percent of the capital and votes in Fractal Gaming Group, intends to propose Hannes Wallin as new Chairman of the Board and to propose election of Magnus Yngen as Board Member at the Annual General Meeting on May 21, 2024. The nomination committee intends to publish its complete proposal during the first quarter of 2024.

Considering Hannes's wish to leave the role as CEO today, the Board of Directors has appointed Jonas Holst, VP Global Sales of Fractal Gaming Group, as the new CEO as of January 1, 2024.

"Having run Fractal since its inception around 15 years ago, I have concluded that the timing is right to hand over the CEO role to a new CEO who can take the company to the next level on our exciting international growth journey. The journey with Fractal has passed many milestones, including the listing of the company on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market in the beginning of 2021. I look forward to continuing to actively support Fractal as the company's largest shareholder on the Board going forward, where I can work on strategic issues regarding the company's long-term growth. We are very pleased to have identified Jonas Holst as my successor as CEO. His broad experience in sales, product and business development in large international organizations will be of great value for our continued development", says Hannes Wallin, CEO of Fractal Gaming Group.

Jonas Holst has many years of experience in senior business positions, including as Chief Product Officer at Chief Product Officer at Blueair within the Unilever Group and in the roles of International Sales Manager and Director of Asia, based in Hong Kong.

"I, and a unanimous Board of Directors, are pleased to announce that we are appointing Jonas Holst as the new CEO of Fractal Gaming Group. Since joining as VP Global Sales, Jonas has gotten to know the business well and has contributed significantly to Fractal's strong sales performance over the past year. We are convinced that he has the necessary qualities to take Fractal to the next level. Through an internal recruitment for the CEO role, and that Hannes Wallin is proposed to take over the role as Chairman, we are implementing a well-planned and responsible succession planning that will strengthen the company's opportunities for profitable growth in the coming years", says Magnus Yngen, Chairman of the Board of Fractal Gaming Group.

"I am very happy and proud of the opportunity to continue to develop Fractal, to contribute with new ideas and to lead the business towards set goals. The strong competence and commitment within the company is impressive and I see great potential for the future, despite an uncertain world. We operate in a dynamic and fast-growing market and have, through our strong product range, well-established premium brand and broad sales and marketing efforts, taken a lot of market share over the past year.  I look forward to continuing to drive our growth initiatives with a focus on delivering high quality products, expansion into new product categories and increased sales and marketing efforts", says Jonas Holst, VP Global Sales and future CEO as of January 1, 2024.
