FRAME's online presence has a new look

As part of an ongoing programme of modernisation FRAME has overhauled its website and updated the content. The process began two years ago with the launch of PiLAS (Perspectives in Laboratory Animal Science), which was given its own online presence as well as being published in print as part of FRAME’s peer-reviewed journal ATLA (Alternatives to Laboratory Animals).

Earlier this year, ATLA was moved to its own site at www.atla.org.uk to make accessing and downloading articles easier for readers. It also simplified access for some groups of subscribers.

The new FRAME website is much more responsive than the old one and will enable our supporters and site visitors to interact with us easily. The new site is also more adaptable and additional sections can be added to it if there is a demand from supporters and researchers.

FRAME is the Fund for the Replacement of Animals in Medical Experiments.

It promotes the replacement of laboratory animals with non-animal methods, through better science.

Its ultimate aim is the elimination of the need to use laboratory animals in any kind of scientific or medical procedures.
