Sweden and the United Kingdom have become Europe’s top countries where advertisers can measure and analyze incoming call traffic statistics, response rates and return on investment.

UPPSALA, Sweden, Aug 17, 2010 -- Freespee AB announces today its recent agreement with the Schibsted company Hitta.se, which will allow advertisers on Hitta.se to clearly analyze their incoming call traffic.  Using Freespee Analytics, companies can easily discover which sites and advertisements create the most call traffic from prospective customers.

"A call is the new click", says Carl Holmquist, CEO of Freespee. "As more and more of advertising and commerce moves into digital channels, people tend to forget that in many businesses nothing can come closer to a sale than a voice call from a prospective buyer", he says. On average, Freespee customers see that 60% of incoming calls through ads lead to sales, compared to 1-2% from web traffic.

"Advertisers have now learned how to analyze web traffic, and are able to see which campaigns or sites result in the most clicks. With our web-based software, calls can be tracked just as easily as clicks. In telecom services you are used to knowing who called you, but not where they found your number. We solved this, and considering the  number of customers we’ve acquired in just 2 years, I think what we’re doing is truly revolutionary", Holmquist concludes.

With this new announcement, Freespee will now be providing its call tracking solution to all major call-intensive directory search engines in Sweden: Hitta.se, Eniro, Lokaldelen and DinDel.
