Free electricity for buyers of a VarioCooking Center

Thanks to its ultra-efficient cooking technologies, FRIMA’s VarioCooking Center Multificiency is guaranteed to save money on energy bills. Now, with the launch of its electricity bonus initiative, FRIMA is offering new customers a refund on the cost of the first one thousand kilowatt hours of electricity they use, based on average consumption, after purchase.

The FRIMA VarioCooking Center is a compact cooking appliance combining the functionality of conventional appliances such as griddles, kettles, fryers, large pots, pressure cookers and bratt pans. Packing advanced technology and multifunctionality into a small footprint, it helps operators save space as well as energy.

Anybody purchasing a unit before the end of December 2015 can claim their first 1000 kW/h used back. Simply submit an invoice to FRIMA with a copy of the last electricity bill, and the company will pay the electricity bonus directly to the customer’s account, based on the average price of electricity on the bill.

“This means our customers are saving twice over, because the latest VarioCooking Center is already up to 40% more energy efficient than conventional cooking equipment, plus they get the 1000kWh payment,” says Graham Kille, managing director of FRIMA UK.

The VarioCooking Center is a truly multifunctional appliance, providing operators with a wide range of cooking processes from boiling, frying and pressure cooking to sous vide and confit. It’s fast, too – up to four times quicker than conventional equipment. In terms of heat transfer, it is up to 96% efficient, making it even more energy efficient than induction cooking. Conventional equipment, such as fryers, may only be around 60% efficient.

“With the free electricity promotion, we’re trying to really push the energy efficiency message,” says Graham. “Modern commercial kitchens are crying out for space-saving, energy efficient equipment. FRIMA’s VarioCooking Center is the ideal solution.”

The VarioCooking Center complies with standards set by the HKI Certification energy efficiency database. This initiative, run by the German Industrial Association for House, Heating and Kitchen Technology, provides equipment buyers with unbiased comparative energy consumption information. HKI database figures are based on a series of German standards, DIN 18873, relating specifically to the energy use of equipment for commercial kitchens.
