Stand E11, Catex 2015, 17-19 February, the RDS, Dublin

The world’s first compact multifunction cooking pan makes its Catex debut at the 2015 show.  FRIMA’s VarioCooking Center Multificiency 112T is a high tech, table-top cooking appliance that can boil, grill, fry, low temperature cook and deep fry, precisely and easily, all in one unit. It’s up to four times as fast, and saves up to 40% in energy, compared to conventional appliances.

It will be centre stage on the Stephens Catering Equipment stand, E11.

FRIMA’s new model may be small on the outside but it’s big on the inside. Despite measuring just 962mm wide by 800mm deep and 400mm high, it has two 14 litre pans and is capable of preparing, for example, 60 litres of soup, 120 portions of battered cod, 50 kilos of chicken stir fry or 80 litres of custard, per hour.

Visitors to the show will be able to see the 112T in action and taste the results, as chefs put this compact FRIMA through its paces.  Also on stand is its larger sibling, the VCC 311, which has a single 150 litre pan.

“With increasing pressure on kitchen space and the need to minimise energy consumption, the multifunctional VarioCooking Center is the ideal appliance for the modern kitchen designer,” says Graham Kille, managing director of FRIMA UK.  “It can replace kettles, tilting pans, bratt pans, fryers and griddles, saving 30% or more space in the kitchen.  The compact 112T means even small kitchens can benefit from this new technology.”

Visitors to the Stephens stand will also be able to book up for a free, no obligation trial using the 112T in their own kitchen, for up to a month. To find out more visit www.kitchenrevolution.biz
