Operation 'Adopt a Vet' Launches
Operation ‘Adopt a Vet’ has been created by the Vetraplex Company to aid Veterans and support them when they need it most- now.
A Desert Storm Veteran and a United States Marine, Gary Rideout created the Vetraplex Company, with the sole mission “Thank you for your service” and has been putting that into action for two years since its inception. The Vetraplex Company is committed to providing services and filling the needs of Veterans in the Verde Valley. With this same mission in mind and the need for Veteran assistance across the Country, Gary has created the ‘Adopt a Vet’ program with the opportunity for service organizations and businesses to ‘Adopt a Vet’ with this unique fund-raising program.
Veterans can be found everywhere and in every community. Their needs can be small or great and the time is now to support Veterans across the Country. With over 67,000 homeless Veterans in the United States and a higher foreclosure rate than average citizens, the ‘Adopt a Vet’ program will aide in providing Veterans and their families with affordable housing solutions.
The ‘Adopt a Vet’ fund-raising program gives 100% of the monies earned back to Veterans and the service organizations that have committed to help. By selling the ‘Adopt a Vet’ support bands at an affordable rate of $5.00; $2.00 from every support band will go back to the Vetraplex Company to create income for Veterans nationwide, $1.00 to a local Veteran organization, and the remaining $2.00 will go to a local Veteran being adopted by a local Veteran organization.
Service organizations or businesses can buy bulk quantities of the bands, resell them, and ‘Adopt a Vet’ for their company or organization thereby making a difference in a local Veterans life. Not a service organization or business? Bands can be purchased in bunches of three online by visiting www.usadoptavet.org.
‘Adopt a Vet’ is putting the words “Thank you for your service” into action! For more information, and if you are a Veteran ready to get involved and earn an income through this opportunity, please visit www.usadoptavet.org or call Gary Rideout at 928-284-2022.
