Danisco chooses AMTrix

Danisco chooses AMTrix as its group standard for electronic commerce Frontec has signed an agreement with the Danish group Danisco for the integration of the SAP R/3 system of its sugar division, and in the long term the introduction of AMTrix as the group standard for electronic commerce. "We were looking for a partner that could quickly create a worthwhile EDI solution for our SAP R/3 system," relates Steen Pedersen, project manager at Danisco A/S. "During this process, we have looked at several different suppliers and strategies, but we decided on Frontec's AMTrix because its standard interface to SAP R/3 makes the implementation quick and easy." "With the complicated structure of the IT systems Danisco has, it means that there will be a single central point for all maintenance of the group's EDI communications," points out Anders Falk of Frontec in Malmö. The initial order is worth around SEK 2 million.
