Frontec chosen as SAP Consult Partner of the Year At a prestigious ceremony, Frontec has been acclaimed "1999 SAP Consult Partner of the Year in Sweden". This title is an acknowledgement of a very successful partnership, but above all that SAP's customers are happy having Frontec as a partner. The award citation also states: "During the year, Frontec has taken an aggressive stance towards a tough market and developed new business areas in line with SAP Svenska strategies. In addition, Frontec has improved on its previous year's Customer Satisfaction index." "We hope that this award will serve as an incentive to our partners and ourselves to enter into a more intensified partnership that will provide a lifelong commitment from both sides, benefiting customers in the long term," says Rikard Frenkel, Alliance Manager SAP Svenska AB. "When we started in the autumn of 1996, we were just five consultants, nowadays there are more than 70 of us. It is a tough challenge to cope with a high level of organic expansion while increasing customer satisfaction. The award shows that we surpass the qualifications that SAP requires of its partners," says Michael Bergquist, MD of Frontec Affärssystem. "Our strength is our in-depth and widespread expertise in not only SAP solutions and methodology but also our customers' business. One of several fine examples is the work we did with Duni, where we completed SAP implementation in record time (14 weeks). Another example is the very extensive SAP project at Volvo Aero, where all aspects of SAP solutions have in principle been implemented. This is probably the largest SAP project currently in progress in the Nordic countries. "Frontec invests a lot in skills development. At our own Solution Center we do all the training and also test and develop new solutions," concludes Michael Bergquist. "Our SAP skills are naturally an enormous asset when we implement major eBusiness projects," says Jan Rehn marketing manager at Frontec. "We have received a lot of attention, particularly in the international arena, when we have been able to resolve complex integration problems using our AMTrix product."
