Frontec receives unique order from Orange Frontec has signed a unique agreement with Orange Sverige AB, one of the new 3G operators. Frontec will be responsible for implementation of SAP Instant FI/MM, an accounting and purchasing system, which as quickly as April 12 will generate the accounts for the month of March for the new operations in Sweden. "We operators are working on a tight schedule to build the next generation of mobile networks," says Jeremy Sell, President of Orange Sverige. "That's why we feel secure in working with Frontec, which has already handled some of the fastest installations of business systems in the Nordic region." "The system, which will be delivered in record time, is a cornerstone for all electronic contacts with suppliers that are and will be involved in Orange's operations," says Per Djäknegren, head of the Enterprise Applications business area at Frontec eBusiness. "At the same time, it is inspiring to work with a client with such a well-defined goal. It means we can get going right away. The agree- ment also includes staff training. Then we naturally hope for a continuation after the first stage is completed."
